Professor Ian Kimber took over the Presidency of the Society at the recent AGM.  Below are some words from our new President:

It is an honour and a privilege to have the opportunity to serve the Society as President for the next two years. We live in interesting times. Our Society faces some significant challenges. In part these are a reflection of the current economic climate, but the landscape of toxicology in the UK has been affected also by some of the changes we have witnessed in the major pharmaceutical companies and elsewhere. The job now is to acknowledge and respond to those challenges and to ensure that the Society continues to flourish.
