Registration
Registration is now open for the BTS Annual Congress 2026 with considerable ‘early bird’ discounts available to those who register early.
The Congress brings together individuals from academia, industry, the health service, regulatory and governmental agencies with a shared interest and passion for the science and practice of toxicology. It offers a fantastic opportunity to network with colleagues and learn about new developments in the field. The three-day programme is packed with content covering all aspects of toxicology.
Registration fees have been held at the 2025 rates!
To mark the launch of our exciting new partnership with the UK branch of the Society for Environmental and Chemical Toxicology (SETAC), this year we welcome SETAC members to register for the BTS Annual Congress at the same discounted rates offered to BTS members.

Call for Abstracts
We now invite authors to submit abstracts for consideration for oral and poster presentations at the BTS Annual Congress 2026.
Abstract submissions have been increasing in number and quality over recent years, so we encourage you to submit your exciting work to benefit from the dissemination opportunities at the Congress.
Prizes will be awarded for the best oral and poster presentations by students and early career attendees.

Accommodation
Accommodation for the BTS Congress 2026 is available onsite at the VOCO St. John’s Hotel, Solihull. To book a room at the Congress rate (£135 per night, bed & breakfast) please follow the instructions below. Rooms are available on Monday 27th April and Tuesday 28th April.
Call the in-house reservations team on 0121 712 7601 (Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm). Quote the event name ‘BTS Congress 2026′ and dates ’27th – 29th April 2026’ to book your room.
PLEASE NOTE – A limited number of rooms are reserved at our Congress rate, available on a first come, first served basis. All rooms are to be booked and paid directly by delegates. BTS will not be held liable for any unpaid room charges.
Once the reserved rooms have been sold, delegates can book a room at the current rate via the hotel website.
Delegates are also free to book a room at nearby hotels, including Premier Inn Solihull Town Centre and Travelodge Solihull which are within 0.5 miles of the Congress venue.

To support BTS members to attend the Annual Congress, a number of bursaries are available:

BTS-SETAC UK Satellite Workshop
In an exciting new partnership, the BTS and SETAC UK are hosting a joint workshop on ‘Science shaping regulation – Towards adoption of animal-free, exposure-driven approaches in UK chemical regulation’ to take place immediately after the BTS Annual Congress at VOCO St John’s Hotel on the afternoon of Wednesday 29th April 2026.
BTS Congress delegates working in this area are encouraged to complete the Expression of Interest form here. The deadline for expressions of interest is Friday 30th January 2026. Following this date, SETAC UK will follow up with instructions for registering and submitting abstracts for the workshop.
Please note spaces for this workshop are limited and the Expression of Interest form may be closed early if there is high demand. Please note that registration at the BTS Congress does not guarantee a place at the workshop.
