ELIXIR Toxicology Community Hybrid Meeting 2026

ELIXIR Europe is an intergovernmental organisation that brings together life science resources from across Europe [0], and part of the European Strategy Forum on Research and Innovation (ESFRI). Maastricht University has been member of the ELIXIR-NL Node and has been involved in many activities for more than 10 years.
The ELIXIR Toxicology Community aims to bridge the toxicology regulation and research communities, exchanging knowledge, skills, solutions, and needs [1,2]. This Community has been co-founded by BiGCaT and currently co-led by the Dept of Translational Genomics. Our whitepaper describes what we do and how this benefits research [2] and the community has collaborated with many national and international research projects.
On June Thu 25 Jun 2026 – 12:00 to Fri 26 Jun 2026 – 16:00 CEST we are bringing together this ELIXIR Toxicology Community in Maastricht! Participation is free and offers a great opportunity to learn about the ELIXIR Europe organization, core deposition database, many solutions ready and free to use, funding options, and many, many collaboration options [3].
Virtual attendance is open with no limit on participant numbers. In-person attendance is limited.
