Animal testing to be phased out faster as UK Government unveils roadmap for alternative methods

The British Toxicology Society welcomes the Government’s new strategy and road map, which has been announced today, for alternative methods to advance the use of non-animal methods in toxicological assessments and fundamental biological science. The Society looks forward to participating in the commitments to replace animal use contained in the paper.
