Nominations open: RSC Toxicology Award for early-career scientists
Do you know an early-career toxicologist whose work is making a real difference to how we understand, assess, or manage the risks of chemicals to human or environmental health?
The Royal Society of Chemistry Toxicology Group is inviting nominations for its 2026 Toxicology Award, recognising outstanding contributions from early-career scientists working across academia, government, and industry.
Nominees should typically have no more than 10 years’ full-time equivalent professional experience and nominations should highlight the nominee’s specific contribution and impact.
Nominations require a proposer, a seconder, and a summary of impact up to 500 words. Supplementary information can be provided (e.g. CV, publication record). Self-nominations are not accepted.
Nominations close Wednesday 30 September 2026
We encourage nominations from across the full breadth of the toxicology community and from all sectors. Please consider nominating an early-career colleague whose work deserves wider recognition.
Please submit nominations to David O’Loughlin, RSC Toxicology Group Secretary david@emissionsanalytics.com
