In Search of Best Methods

PEPPER, the Public-private platform for the validation of endocrine disruptors characterization methods, is looking for methods to be validated.

PEPPER focuses on test methods that characterise endocrine disrupters substances. Methods allowing the identification of an endocrine mode of action (MoA), an endocrine-related adverse outcome (AO), or linking a MoA to an AO are in the scope of PEPPER.

Submission deadline is August 15, 2023.

Training in Advanced Toxicology

EUROTOX is pleased to support this exciting opportunity for early career scientists in countries offering limited courses in advanced toxicology: RISK ASSESSMENT IN REGULATORY TOXICOLOGY – CONTEMPORARY METHODOLOGY, scheduled October 16-20, 2023, in Sofia, Bulgaria.

The course is organized by the Bulgarian Toxicological Society  with the financial support of EUROTOX and UTOX and the cooperation of the National Centre for Public Health and Analysis and Technical University, Sofia.

The course will provide knowledge and understanding of approaches for toxicological risk assessment in regulatory processes for different categories of chemicals in the light of new alternative approaches in toxicology, useful for individuals who work with problems related to exposure to various chemical substances from various sources – environmental and working environment, food, cosmetics, as well as those who work in regulatory toxicology.
